Job Objective:

We are looking for a highly driven and aggressive Sales Executive / Business Development professional with strong experience in Upwork bidding, global client acquisition, and IT services sales. The ideal candidate must have a proven track record of generating qualified leads, winning projects on Upwork, and closing deals with international clients. This role requires someone who is self-motivated, target-oriented, and capable of independently driving revenue through freelancing platforms and outbound lead generation channels.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Actively generate business opportunities through Upwork, LinkedIn, email campaigns, and other online platforms.
  • Identify, qualify, and convert leads into long-term clients for IT services.
  • Write high-converting Upwork proposals and respond to relevant project postings quickly and strategically.
  • Maintain a strong pipeline of opportunities and track them through CRM or internal tools.
  • Conduct client discovery calls, requirement analysis, and solution presentations.
  • Work closely with technical teams to prepare proposals, cost estimates, and project scopes.
  • Negotiate contracts and close deals with international clients.
  • Build long-term client relationships and generate repeat business.
  • Continuously explore new lead generation channels and business opportunities.

Skillset & Experience:

  • 3–6 years of experience in IT services sales / business development.
  • Strong experience in Upwork bidding and freelancing platforms with a proven success record.
  • Ability to handle complete sales cycle from lead generation to deal closure.
  • Strong understanding of software development services (Web, Mobile, Cloud, AI, etc.).
  • Excellent written communication skills for proposal writing.
  • Strong negotiation, client handling, and presentation skills.
  • Experience working with international clients (US, Europe, Middle East).

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience using LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Apollo, HubSpot, or similar tools.
  • Experience with RFP responses and enterprise proposal preparation.
  • Knowledge of digital marketing or lead generation strategies.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

  • Number of qualified leads generated per month.
  • Upwork proposal success rate.
  • Client meetings and demos conducted.
  • Deals closed and revenue generated.
  • Client retention and repeat business.
